Description
This peptide is an FMRFamide peptide found in Lymnaea with the sequence GDPFLRF. FMRF is a cardiostimulatory neuropeptide involved in reproductive behavior control. FMRF increases the magnitude of delayed rectifier K+ current (I(K)) in olfactory neurons and inhibits the exchange of Na+ and Ca2+.
