Use

Mesenchymal (Stromal) Cell (MSC) Media is a serum-containing liquid medium optimized for the culture and expansion of
Reachbio
’s Bone Marrow-Derived MSCs (catalog # 02100).? It is also suitable for culture/expansion of other MSCs.

Catalog # 2121 is shipped as one bottle of base medium (450 mL, liquid) and one bottle of supplement (50 mL, frozen).? When ready to use, thaw the bottle of Supplements and add its entire contents to the bottle of Base Medium to generate 500 mL of “Complete Medium”.

For optimal growth, tissue culture treated plasticware should always be used and cells should be passed into fresh Complete Medium when they reach approximately 70% confluence.

Note: Antibiotics have not been added to either the Basal Medium or the Supplements.

lity and Storage
Store Base Medium at +4C and Supplements at -20C until ready to use. The Complete Medium (generated upon adding the thawed Supplements to the Base Medium) may be stored at +4C for up to 6 weeks.
