cells are isolated from human bone marrow (BM) using an immunomagnetic cell separation techniques. These cells are positively selected using an antibody that targets the CD34 antigen.

cells is >90% as measured by flow cytometric analysis.

Sample Collection and Processing
BM cells are drawn from the posterior iliac crest of normal human donors using a syringe containing anticoagulant.? MNCs are first obtained by density centrifugation of BM cells and CD34

cells are then enriched from the MNCs by positive selection.? BM cells are processed within 24-30 hours after collection. Donors have been screened to be negative for HIV, HBV, and HCV (see Certificate of Analysis).

C is not recommended. Once thawed, the cells must be used immediately and have a finite life span in culture.
