The single-analyte FluoroSpot assay provides an ELISpot alternative with fluorescent detection instead of enzymatic. The assay enables enumeration of cells secreting human Interleukin-10 (IL-10). FluoroSpot
BASIC
(550) contains monoclonal capture and detection antibodies, a secondary fluorophore-conjugated detection reagent (SA-550) and a Fluorescence enhancer.
For analysis we recommend the use of an automated FluoroSpot reader equipped with a 550 nm excitation filter and a 570 nm emission filter (i.e. Cy3 equivalent).

IL-10
Interleukin-10 (IL-10, IL10) is a pleiotropic cytokine that is produced by activated T cells and monocytes. It can modulate the functions of immune responses in both a stimulatory and an inhibitory way. IL-10 is thereby involved in the regulation of immune reactions and inflammatory responses.
