Basic FluoroSpot for enumeration of cells secreting IL-2
The single-analyte FluoroSpot assay provides an ELISpot alternative with fluorescent detection instead of enzymatic. The assay enables enumeration of cells secreting human Interleukin-2 (IL-2). FluoroSpot
BASIC
(550) contains monoclonal capture and detection antibodies, a secondary fluorophore-conjugated detection reagent (SA-550) and a Fluorescence enhancer.
For analysis we recommend the use of an automated FluoroSpot reader equipped with a 550 nm excitation filter and a 570 nm emission filter (i.e. Cy3 equivalent).

IL-2
Interleukin-2 (IL-2, IL2) is produced exclusively by activated T cells. IL-2 promotes the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of antigen-activated T cells and NK-cells.
