This ubiquitin-based activity probe can be used for activity profiling experiments and labeling of DUBs with a fluorescent dye (Cy5). Cy5 labelling allows for detection of DUB labeling by in-gel fluorescence.

Sample Preparation:
Dissolve the powder in DMSO (e.g. add 1.25 μl DMSO to 25 μg powder to get 20 mg/ml or 2.25 mM DMSO stock) and add this DMSO stock to the required buffer (please note the order of addition). Typical reaction concentrations vary from 0.2 - 2 μM.
